About the Tri-Series
The Tri-Series is an opportunity for you to represent your Club in a friendly competition with other local hillclimb clubs. The event is open to members of the following clubs:
- Cooma Car Club
- Southern District Motorsports Association
- Wollongong Sporting Car Club
There will be one event per club circuit - competitors who register for the tri-series are strongly encouraged to commit to all three events.
Join your club mates for three great days of hillclimb and camaraderie.

We anticipate interest to be high, so encourage you to register at opening time to maximise the chances you can join the tri-series.
Tri-series registration will be $20 for adults and juniors, with entry fees going to trophies and other prizes.
Normal event entry fees will apply per event.
Payment will be on registration, by Credit Card
Vehicles may be double entered, but only between separately registered tri-series competitors.
Numbers and Reserves
The tri-series will comprise 40 entry slots with the following breakdown per club. When a tri-series event is run, the hosting Club may choose to fill their normal quota with local competitors. These local competitors will be there to enjoy the day, and will not earn championship points for their local championship or the tri-series.
For example, the SDMA normally runs 60 cars for a one lap hillclimb, and so may have up to 20 local entries.
Tri-series entry allocation is as follows
Cooma: 10 entries and 5 reserves
SDMA: 15 entries and 7 reserves
WSCC: 15 entries and 7 reserves
In the first instance, reserves will be used to fill tri-series slots if an entry cannot be fullfilled. Should any club have spare slots, reserves may be offered the opportunity to join the tri-series and compete on behalf of that club.
When the tri-series is running, should a competitor be unavailable, their slot will be offered to the next available reserve. Reserves do not need to purchase tri-series membership, just pay the event fee they compete in.
Championship competitors that cannot compete will provide two weeks notice (emergencies excepted) so subs can be selected and can prepare themselves for the event.
Vehicle Classes
There will be four vehicle classes, each with an equivalent slick tyre class. Classes are based on engine capacity, not vehicle modification.
