Special Track Maintenance - Working Bee
A condition of our MotorSport Australia Track Licence is that we keep the circuit up to standard.
This includes making sure our tyre/safety walls are properly set up.
We need to do some remedial work on the tyre walls, so there will be a series of special track maintenance working bees over the next few months.
The first of these will be Saturday 15 March from 9:00am to around 2:00–2:30pm.
Lunch will be provided by the club.
This work is needed to ensure we can keep holding events at the track.
We will need at least 10 to 12 people for each working bee, but the more that turn up, the quicker we can get the work done. You can check the MemberJungle app or the website to see how many people have already registered.
To protect your safety, ensure that you bring:
- Sturdy long pants, such as denim or heavy cotton.
- Sturdy boots
- Work gloves
- Safety glasses
- A long-sleeved shirt is recommended
- Hat (wide-brimmed recommended)
- Sunscreen
- Water
Lunch will be provided for those that can stay into the afternoon.
Please indicate your availability when registering to attend so we can work out catering.
We expect maintenance to finish no later than 3:00pm.
We look forward to seeing you at the track!
