2025 SDMA Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The 2025 SDMA Annual General Meeting (AGM) is on SUNDAY 21 SEPTEMBER, starting at 2.00 pm, in the PIT STOP CAFÉ at the track.

Drinks and light refreshments will be provided - by registering for the AGM you help us plan catering.

Every financial member of SDMA is entitled to come to the AGM and the Committee would love to see many, many members come along.

The AGM is the most important event for the club each year. The current committee will give a detailed report about club activities in 2024-2025, including data on events held, membership numbers and, very importantly, the outlook for the next year (2025-2026). The AGM is where the independently audited 2024-2025 Financial Statements are provided to members.   

The most important outcome of the AGM is the election of the SDMA committee for the next year (2025-2026). The committee consists of the executive (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer) and as many general committee members as are necessary to run the club, with a minimum of six.

The club needs, and benefits from, new committee members with new ideas and new approaches and the committee encourages members to stand for committee positions to help strengthen the club.

If you want to stand for election to the committee, you must be a financial SDMA member and you must be nominated by a financial SDMA member and seconded by a financial SDMA member.
